Antique Cast Iron Stair Rail Bracket

Lovely sensuous curves make this Victorian era stair rail bracket a true joy!  It’s funny how the details can make hard cast iron appear “soft”!  I’ve left a bit of rust (or is it original varnish?) in the crevices to show off the design.  What a stunning addition to your old stairway!

The main part of the bracket would attach to the wall and the swivel piece attaches to the rail.

Plate 3” x 1-1/8” on the wall
Plate 1” x 1-7/8” on the rail
Protrudes 2-3/4” from wall (including rail plate)
