Antique Cast Iron Door Plate Escutcheon – Reading “Belfort”

This high relief cast iron door escutcheon was made by Reading Hardware Company in 1900 in their Belfort pattern and is signed on the back.  It has fantastic incised detail and bits of remaining bronze plating give it warm distressed look.  This door plate will make any door a real stand-out!
