Antique 1-3/4” Cast Iron Butterfly Turn Latches – Many Available

The simplest function ever, these latches are mounted on the cabinet frame and simply pivot to hold the cabinet door closed.  The little raised wings fit your thumb and finger perfectly.  Even the old steel screws are included!

Some have tiny bits of worn black paint and there is a light dusting of surface rust.  Use them as they are or rub them with some oil to turn them almost black.  Since they have not been oiled you could easily repaint the color of your choice (they were originally a glossy black).  Photo is representative of the condition of all. Some have slight profile differences since they were made by different manufacturers. If you are ordering a pair (2) I will make sure they exactly match.
