1905 Yale & Towne “Olympian” Bronze Entry Door Parts

This is an incomplete set that I’ve grown tired of waiting to find the missing parts. The price isn’t much more than I would charge for the knobs alone but I didn’t want to split up the set. If you happen to have (or can locate) the missing mortise lock and exterior door plate this would be a match made in heaven. For those that would want to create their own unique set I’ve included a plain brass rosette for the missing plate. You might want to remove the thumb turn on the large plate for use on the exterior of the door and re-work the hole for a skeleton key. However, keep in mind that the split rotating spindle is 3/8” square so your lock would have to accommodate it.

These Y & T pieces are made of solid wrought bronze and other than a crack on the edge of the huge exterior knob they are in excellent condition with patina. The crack on the edge of the knob is aesthetic and does not affect its function. You can see it in the photo. If you mount the knob with it facing down no one but a 2 year old next to the door looking up would be able to see it.

Doorknobs: 2-1/4” and 2-1/2” diameter
Door plate:  3” x 10-7/8” (maximum dimensions)
Spacing: Center of doorknob hole to center of thumb turn rod:  2-1/2”
Rosette: 2” diameter
Rod for the thumb turn is 7/32” square
