1905 Reading Hardware “Mantua” Bronze Door Hardware

The incising on this set is stunning and the dark even patina makes it all the more special. Hard to find a natural patina this dark and even! The incising is very deep and ornate giving a very elegant presence. Be sure to enlarge the photos to see it close up! The high end lock makes it appropriate for either a passage or entry door.

This set is made of thick cast (not pressed) bronze and is in excellent condition. One tiny ding on a face plate but otherwise no damage or wear. The lock has a thick bronze face plate and operates perfectly. I do not have a key for this lock. You will need to see your local locksmith to have one made if you intend to use the deadbolt function. I will guarantee it works with the proper key. An iron spindle with original set screws is included but not pictured.

Doorknobs: 2-1/4” diameter
Door plates:  2-1/4” x 7” (maximum dimensions)
Spacing: Center of doorknob hole to center of round portion of keyhole:  2-3/8”
Lock faceplate: 1-1/16” x 6-1/4”
Lock casing is 5/8” thick
